Cynthia Bailey Confirms Her Marriage Is Ending

Cynthia Bailey has stayed silent about her marriage for the last couple of months. When The Real Housewives of Atlanta ended, she admitted that she and Peter had struggled in their marriage. Peter was spending much of his time in Charlotte and he had plans of spending even more time there so he could continue to open bars and lounges. According to a new report, Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that she’s separated from Peter and that the two are one step closer to a full-blown divorce.

“Peter and I are separated. He lives in Charlotte, and I live in Atlanta,” Cynthia told The Daily Dish, revealing that her marriage is indeed coming to an end right now. She’s been living in Atlanta, working on her business, while Peter has been staying in Charlotte. These days, Bailey is focusing on herself.

“I am definitely taking some time to myself to figure out how I want to move forward. I don’t want to rush into anything, so I think this time apart is good for us,” Cynthia has said, adding, “And I think the space apart, I think he can appreciate it as well. I think it gives people time to think and process and just move forward in a way that really is healthy for everyone involved.”

But Cynthia isn’t really sure about giving up on her marriage completely. The separation has happened, but Bailey isn’t really sure whether she wants to go through with her divorce just yet.

“Regardless of where I am with Peter, he is my husband. I will always love him, and I will always support him. And I believe he feels the same about me,” Cynthia shared, adding, “Whether or not we decide to stay married or not, that’s something that we have to decide soon. But right now, I’m enjoying the time apart, taking time for myself.”
