Porn Star Fakes It: Video Of XXX Star Getting Bitten Underwater A Total Hoax

Okay, that’s it. Fool ol’ Roger T once…well, okay, it’s been more than once. There was that time the porn star sold me the Brooklyn Bridge. There was that time a different porn star offered to split a Netflix account with me if I pre-paid my half for the year, then changed the password. Then there was that time the porn star who sold me the Brooklyn Bridge had a crisis of conscience and offered to refund my money directly into my bank account if I provided my account and routing number. You know how that turned out.

I’m done trusting porn stars. It’s not that those previous instances destroyed my trust; in fact, I was willing to give all porn stars a fourth chance. But then today I found out that this “shark bites porn star video”…

…was faked.

Yes, the viral video, which has racked up 14,000,000+ views in eight days, was a total publicity stunt.

In the video, CamSoda model Molly Cavalli is “attempting her first underwater broadcast” when a shark “bites” her off-camera despite her just having been filmed head-to-toe by a cameraman outside of the cage who also had the shark in frame. She gets back onto the boat with a bloody gash on her foot, sobbing.

Now Bryce Rohrer, the owner of a shark-diving company, has come forward to allege that Molly approached him months ago with the intention of faking the video specifically to go viral. While getting bitten by a shark might be good business for a porn star, porn stars getting bitten by sharks is terrible business for people who run shark-diving companies. Bryce declined and offered the following text message as proof:

I am ashamed to have ever fallen for this scam, in part because I wasted my sympathies on a porn star who yet again conned me, and also because I got off to the video twice.
